ya and above all based on little exposure so far. Miles Copeland wrote an article for a bellydance magazine recently “warning” young dancers of taking part in competitions like bellydancer pageants and appearances in dvds because everybody who is already on other dvds is “devalued” for him and cannot be introduced as the “latest hot young surprise”.
He picked a small number of established dancers like Suhaila and Tamalyn, and some moderately known ones like Ansuya – the rest unknown and “fresh”

Here Petite Jamilla is a live wire and undulates like one….:-) I would have to say this performance was both energetic and joyful. Well done!
I think most people appreciate the professionalism and the athleticism of the BDSS, but not everyone prefers them. people need to stop treating them as if they are the end all be all; and not al of them have professional attitudes, one of them was very nasty with a friend of mine but this person does not tour with them anymore, they are not the greatest level dancers they were chosen based on many criteria looks height, weight, atheltics….

But you gotta admit that Ansuya looks and dances slightly more traditional than Jamilla – while both are cabaret style.
